Driving Directions
NOTE: As you exit I-90, “Meany” signs may be posted along the route. Allow 1.5 hours from
Seattle to drive to Meany in good weather.
To Crystal Spring Campground
Mushroom weekend option 2
- Drive EAST on I-90 to Exit 62, approximately 5 miles past the summit.
- Get off on Exit 62 Lake Kachees/Stampede Pass.
- Turn RIGHT at stop sign, go approx .5 miles. Campground will be on your right.
- If you go across the bridge, you've gone to far.
- Map below shows location of campground and Meany
To Meany Lodge
Summer and Fall
- Drive EAST on I-90 to Exit 62, ~5 miles past the summit
- Get off on Exit 62Lake Kachees/Stampede Pass
- Turn RIGHT toward Stampede Pass and proceed SOUTH on Service Road #54.
- Go past the Crystal Spring Campground and cross the Iron Horse trail.
- Bear LEFT on Forest Service Road #420, and proceed for 1.7 miles to the railroad tracks
- Parallel the tracks until you reach the crossing.
Please use extreme caution when crossing the tracks, as the trains are quiet and fast. Look
both ways especially to your right,
- Proceed a couple hundred yards, bear LEFT up the hill to the lodge.
- Park anywhere there is space

Winter and Early Spring
- Drive EAST on I-90 to Exit 62, approximately 5 miles past the summit.
- Get off on Exit 62 Lake Kachees/Stampede Pass.
- Turn RIGHT toward Stampede Pass and proceed SOUTH on Service Road #54.
- Go past Crystal Springs Campground, cross bridge, turn right into parking lot. You can't miss
it, the road ends there.
- Park on the left with car facing out, and wait for sno-cat to come and get you.
