Work Parties

It takes a LOT of work to maintain Meany. Even if you can only come up for a couple of hours, you will be surprised at what you can accomplish. A major focus this season will be giving North and South Slobovia a serious haircut. (To non-Meanyites these are names of particular locations on runs the Meany hill) We will also be replacing the rope on the Mach Tow. ("Mach" being the name of our fastest tow rope). The senior committee has accomplished lots of heavy maintenance on the snow cats, but they still need the help of "the young bucks". So we will likely get involved in assisting, like replacing the tracks on Moose and Tom Cat. Click on track installation, and scroll down to the bottom to view videos of the last time we did this. The dates are posted on the Calendar but here they are also:

So please come, join the fun, and help to keep Meany running for years to come. For midweek workparty, please contact Ray Nelson, for weekend workparty, register by clicking on Weekend Workparties

Climbing Students Note - Meany Work Parties count as your Community Service credit.
