During the Spring, Meany Lodge begins to go into hibernation. It is a chance for the committee to
earn a well deserve rest from managing and maintaining the lodge. Except for Patti she is getting
charged up to lead the spring ski trip. Now there is dedication !!! Obviously if you have the
need to rent the lodge. A phone call to the chair will accomplish that.
The MOFA classes are a chance for mountaineers members (and the general public) to get hands-on
experience treating injuries one would see and experience anywhere in the Pacific Northwest. It is
an intensive weekend (Friday evening through Sunday Afternoon). The addage the some MOFA instructors
use is "Make the Mistake now and not when you really need to do it !!" With all the snow the injury
scenarios take on a more realistic appearance
The Spring ski trip, led by Patti, is a once in a life time chance to "ski/see Europe" in the company of
avid skiers like yourself. It will be a fantastic time !
