Schedule and Activities
We have great plans for Family Hiking Weekend 2007. As well as the fun hikes and great food, we have a special treat of as Michael and Doreen Johnston bring their dog team to hiking weekend.
Saturday
10:00 a.m. Arrive at Meany find a bed or a camping space
10:30 a.m. Meet in the lodge for information about Saturday and Sunday's hikes, and Hug-a-Tree
11:00 a.m. Organize car pools with leader and depart
1:00 p.m. Stop for lunch on hike
3:00 p.m. Return from hikes and have a snack
3:30 p.m. Dog sled demonstration— Michael and Doreen Johnston and dogs
5:30 p.m. Dinner
6:30 p.m. Dave Agee from BNSF talks to the kids about railroad crossing safety
6:45 p.m. Decorate cookies and play games
7:00 p.m. Dave Agee from BNSF talks to the adults about railroad crossing safety
8:00 p.m. Desert
7:30 p.m. Dog sledding presentation— Michael and Doreen Johnston
10:00 p.m. Lights out
Sunday
7:30 am. Wake up
8:00 am. Breakfast
8:45 am. Pack and clean lodge
9:00 am. Make sack lunch
9:30 am. Depart on Sunday hikes
2:00 p.m. approximately. Leave trailhead for home
