The Annual Meany Summer Picnic
August 14^th 2008--1:00 pm until ???

This year the potluck picnic will be held at the Jim and Margaret Noyes' place in Clearview (Hyw 9 - South of Snohomish and North of Woodinville) (directions at the end with map links)

All Old timers, New comers, and Current Regulars are invited to come and get excited for the upcoming ski season as well as have fun telling and listening to stories about the old.

There will be announcements about the Fall work party from Ray Nelson or Chuck Welter our Meany hut Chair. Patti Polinsky will be on hand to fill us in on what's up for the Ski School this year.

Bring your swim suits and sun screen because this year we will have beautiful weather and plan to have a good time! This is a Kid Friendly place with lots of outdoor toys and games.

For the Potluck; You may bring what you wish to share but a good guide is:

• Families with last names beginning with A-M bring a Main Dish or dessert
• Families with last names beginning with N-Z bring a salad or snacks.

We will provide hamburgers and hot dogs (we do need a volunteer Chef to do the honors on the BarBQ) and a variety of soft drinks.

• Either I5 North/I405 South or I405 North.
• take the Bothell exit (Hwy 522 North to Woodinville/Monroe) (Do not go toward Bothell).
• Take the 3rd exit (Hwy 9) going North.
• Go North past the Maltby Road and turn Left on 188th SE.
• Turn Left on 67th
• Turn Right on 196th--We are the 1st driveway on the Left. (We are 1 mile from Hwy 9)

From the North:

• South on I-5--Variety of ways to get to Hwy 9 depending on how far north you are (Hwy 2 East from Everett or 128th exit south of Everett are a couple.
• Hwy 9 go south, pass Snohomish, then Clearview.
• Turn Right on 188th St SE.
• Turn Left on 67th
• Turn Right on 196th--We are the 1st driveway on the Left. (We are 1 mile from Hwy 9)

From Lynnwood:

• East on 196th past the Bothell Everett Hwy (SR 527).
• North on Hwy 9; turn Left on 188th St SE as above.

From Seattle (south of University of Washington):

• I5 North
• Lake City Way exit (this is really 522)
• Becomes Bothell Way NE
• At intersection with 527, in Bothell, bear right
• Drive past Woodenville exit
• Take the 2^nd exit (Hwy 9) going North.
• Go North past the Maltby Road and turn Left on 188th SE.
• Turn Left on 67th
• Turn Right on 196th--We are the 1st driveway on the Left. (We are 1 mile from Hwy 9)
